Fear is not a problem today

FEAR. This short word somehow touches about every aspect of our lives. It was an evil and corroding thread; the fabric of our existence was shot through with it. It set in motion trains of circumstances which brought us misfortune we felt we didn´t deserve. But did not we, ourselves, set the ball rolling? Sometimes we think fear ought to be classed with stealing. It seems to cause more trouble........keep reading and pray .... "ask Him to remove our fear and direct our attention to what He would have us be" At once, we COMMENCE to outgrow fear. P67,P68

Fear steals my progress, its blocks it everytime. You either FACE everything and recover... ie make progress

OR

F%CK everything and run (or hide under the table) like old ideas/old ways/old beliefs

Its about making the right choice once you are aware of what it is.

God grant me the COURAGE to CHANGE the things I can. IE I WILL recognise what a load of rubbish, unkind unfriendly unhelpful defect it is to my progress, happiness, serenity, ambition and stop listening and being ruled by it.

OR I will continue running on self will doing it my own old way, which has ? got me this far, but no further in x years and I have no evidence that I can do it any different my way.

FEAR it wants you to stop exactly where you are and make no progress and have no fun! its true.

recognise it, learn how cunning it is and learn how to walk through it or peel it off when its got you round the neck... yet again!

Well thats what I did anyway! and it seems to be working

I regularly have to mantra like "Please remove my fear and direct my thoughts to what you will have me be" over and over

post inspired by another blogger...

Dear Johno,
My fear was from my childhood (orphanages) & I had to go back and re - experience my abandonment & trauma in the orphanage. There is no other way?

Mantras, meditation, 12 Steps, & AA only camouflage the feelings (pain, fear, shame & grief), which are lying dormant waiting to be processed & felt.

I have no fear today, Johno, because I faced it through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Hi Micky

re-experiecing your abandonment and trauma in the orphanage, sounds like a very brave and hard work, though VERY necessary and rewarding process for you, by what you say. A huge act of Love towards yourself (in my opinion)

The feelings I felt when in fear, were very real and I know what they were just last week for instance, fear of failing an exam, fear of looking a fool in front of my class etc.

BUT for me, I cannot think my way out (at the moment) so I ask God to remove my fear, then I can see more clearly and

have FAITH that it doesnt really matter how it goes and there is no failure, just experience, and my classmates aren't really bothered in the great scheme of things, they are more scared about there own exam and wont remember mine in a few weeks.

I am glad you have no fear today Micky, it sounds like your hard work has paid off.

thanks for your comments amd emails.

In love and fellowship

Johno

Dear Johno,
Thank you for your warm & loving comments. You are a warm & loving human being - a rarity in today’s world.

There is nothing wrong with you. It is normal for one to feel anxious, especially before an exam.

I will pray that God protects you & keeps you free from anxiety. God guided me to you - you are blessed, Johno!!

I, MICKY, AM A GIFT TO ALL PEOPLE!!

Love this post.
I can relate to this all too well.
I think I could even replace the word fear with shame and it pretty much stops me dead in my tracks.

Stopping the cycle is freeing.

Thanks for this post.
