I'm glad that it's about God because I'm dealing with trying not to lose myself in another. Trying hard to kick the codependency habit.
yeah i see a lot of god in songs. pam says the same. gods everywhere if you look for it. I cant remember this one off the top of my head though. Strikes me as a bit sugary (which doesnt work for me) but I have no clue as I can't remember the song. I think peter gabriel is a nice guy, and i think i like the guy more than I like his music to be honest. I don't mean I know him, but he's very well known for being a bit of a hippy. I like people that are essentially hippies but very productive and worldly at the same time, and he sort of fits that personality type. as far as i know.
After a lifetime run on self will, pride and intolerence of self and others, this kind of "gentleness" to snuggle up to, at times is exactly what I need. It improves my conscious contact and reminds me, I am enough in Gods eyes. It doesnt matter what my opinion of me is.
